- Get Involved
- Troop 10 is a family-supported organization, and we encourage all families to contribute to the life of the troop. There are many ways to help, from assisting with trip planning and joining campouts to supporting our annual fundraiser. If you’d like to get more involved, please contact the Committee Chair to learn how you can help.
- Adult Leadership Resources
- The troop maintains a collection of documents and resources to help adult leaders plan and run our programs. These resources are available in the Directory of Adult Leadership Documents and Resources.
- Youth Protection Training
- At least one adult from each family, as well as all registered adult leaders, must complete Youth Protection Training. Adults who wish to participate in campouts must also be registered with Scouting.
- You can learn more about Youth Protection Training through Scouting.org.
- You do not need to be a registered member or have a membership ID to complete Youth Protection Training. To take the training, create an account through My.Scouting.org, then select My Training and complete the Youth Protection Training course.
- Merit Badge Counselors
- We are always looking for adults to serve as merit badge counselors. Merit badge counselors help Scouts learn about a subject, provide guidance as they work toward completing a merit badge, and share their own knowledge and experience.
- You can become a counselor for a merit badge related to your professional experience, hobbies, or areas of expertise. There are also many merit badges that don’t require specialized professional experience, so there’s likely an opportunity that fits your interests.
