Troop 10 was founded in 2011 after the two existing troops in our town grew very large. Our goal was simple: to create a smaller, close-knit community focused on the core values of Scouting. In 2024, we proudly expanded our program with the formation of a Girl Troop, giving even more youth the opportunity to experience the adventures and life skills that Scouting provides. We specialize in high-adventure experiences and place a strong emphasis on traditional Scouting skills. Whether we’re hiking through the backcountry, practicing fire-building techniques, or learning knot-tying, we aim to keep the spirit of classic Scouting alive. Our troop meets weekly and embarks on a camping trip each month. Throughout the school year, we actively participate in civic events, service projects, and council-wide Scouting activities.
